My Thoughts

In my previous post I suggested the following characteristics of Defining Moments:

Defining Moments are events that bring us into adult issues or ways of thinking for the first time.

Defining Moments are events that lead us to commit to a cause.

Defining Moments are events with different responses that divide a generation.

Defining Moments are events we always look back on as changing our lives.

After watching the memorial service and the reactions, it is clear to me that all of my criteria have been completely met. So many young people have considered the Gospel and political issues for the first time and their lives have changed. They are committed to causes and there is demand for new branches of the Turning Point ministry.

This will be a defining moment for a generation and, God willing, the beginning of true revival for America and Western culture more broadly.
